Most in-country costs, a donation to the community project, training materials and a portion of our program costs

Discounts are available!
$50 discounts: available for returning volunteers or early registrants (register by four months prior to the first date of the trip).
Youth rates: ages 8-15 receive 25% off program fees.
Group rates: Group of 4, one person travels half price.  Group of 8, one person goes free.

Cancellation Policy
If volunteer cancels: a refund of program fees may be available. In all cases, the deposit paid can be transferred to another trip to be taken within one year of travel from the original date of departure. In addition, a $50 transfer fee will be applied.

If volunteer cancels more than 60 days prior to trip departure, all program fees, minus deposit, are refunded and transfer fee is charged.
If volunteer cancels less than 60 days prior to trip departure, 50% of program fees, minus deposit, are refunded and transfer fee is charged.
If volunteer cancels one month or less prior to trip departure, no program fees are refunded and transfer fee is charged. If GCN cancels a trip: we will make all reasonable effort to reschedule. If the new trip dates are not possible for the volunteer to participate, the volunteer can transfer their deposit and any program fees paid to another trip within one year of travel and not be charged a transfer fee. If travel to the area is not advisable for the forseeable future, GCN will refund the full amount paid out less a $50 administrative fee.
